Holistic Occupational Therapy
for
NDIS Participants
As an NDIS provider, my occupational therapy services focus on building the skills that participants need to achieve their goals. As a trauma-informed, neuroaffirmative mental health OT, I support my NDIS participants to build practical skills alongside developing a healthy internal landscape. Through specialised qualifications, I use body-based (somatic) and cognitive strategies alongside expressive therapies and sensory modalities to support clients in emotional expression and regulation, trauma processing, development of self-worth and self-confidence and goal-setting in order to move forward in life and begin to build the skills required to achieve the life that they desire.
I'm a big believer in quality of life as well as pure function. As a holistic OT, I weave in creative and client-centred activities of interest to keep sessions personalised, fun and meaningful. This approach supports skill development through significantly enhancing participant engagement, and by connecting skills-building exercises to a deeper sense of purpose, meaning and joy, my amazing participants achieve lasting positive change on all levels.

Holistic Therapy for Teens (10+)
These sessions are tailor-made and filled with fun, creative and engaging activities that help young people discover their unique strengths and build self-belief.
For younger participants, sessions include creative fine-motor activities and imaginative play to explore emotions and self-regulation. For older teens, we explore and break free from internalised self-limiting beliefs about ourselves, our bodies, our capabilities and the world around us through role-playing, fantasy themes, storytelling and creative expression. Tracking progress towards goals is made fun and engaging through journalling/video-journalling and picture-based self-reflection. Outdoor-based activities are additionally incorporated where possible to improve gross motor skills, sensory regulation and executive functioning, and to develop a positive connection with the natural environment.
Every session is designed to meet my participants where they are, inspiring personal growth, practical skills-building, resilience, and self-awareness in a way that feels playful and empowering.

Holistic OT for Adults
My therapy style is trauma-informed and gentle, yet positive and uplifting, so you can leave feeling lighter, yet stronger. Sessions are strengths-focused, goal-oriented and designed to empower and engage individuals of all ages to build the skills they require for a healthy mind, body and spirit.
Together, we firstly identify what values and goals are most meaningful and important to you and why. We work towards these through practical capacity-building, including nervous system & emotional regulation, mindset shifts and creative self-expression. We also look at your environment and any external limiting factors, modifying these where necessary and possible to ensure you are supported as best as possible to achieve lasting positive growth and independence.
Sessions may be nature-based where appropriate to facilitate natural nervous system regulation and gentle sensory experiences. Holistic practices such as breathwork, gentle movement, mindfulness, meditation and creative activities are incorporated into sessions and, importantly, taught to you to facilitate independent self-regulation between and beyond OT sessions. All somatic (movement-based) exercises are tailored to suit wheelchair users and less mobile participants.
